Performance NotesThe Imperial College newspaper, 'Felix', reported that the Carnival was a financial failure. The Nashville Teens backed out at the last minute, Status Quo spent 20 minutes tuning up and left the stage 2 and a half numbers later due to the collapse of the guitarist. The only two successes were East of Eden and the Spencer Davis group. (Felix, 6 March 1969)
