Biography | Frank Clarke (c1924 - 8 May 2007) was a British session double bass player and composer.
Among others, he played throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s with The Stanley Black Orchestra, Ambrose, Ted Heath, Geraldo, Matt Munro, Frankie Vaughan, Sammy Davis Junior, Ella Fitzgerald, Petula Clark, Tony Osborne, Cliff Richard on his first record (Move It) and The Beatles. In later years he played for many sessions of film or television music. |
