Biography | Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter and television personality who is employed by ITV. He is most recognised for presenting the ITV lifestyle programme This Morning which he has co-hosted since 2002 with Fern Britton until her departure and more recently Holly Willoughby. In addition to his roles on This Morning, Schofield has presented All Star Mr & Mrs with Fern Britton between 2008 and 2010 and alone since 2012. Since 2009, he has presented the BAFTA Awardwinning game show The Cube on ITV.
Schofield began his presenting career in 1987, when he presented the Children's magazine show Going Live!, and has since presented various primetime entertainment shows including the celebrity skating show Dancing on Ice, a show which he began hosting in 2006 alongside Holly Willoughby until 2011 and Christine Bleakley between 2012 and 2014.
Schofield annually presents The British Soap Awards in May, the ITV charity telethon Text Santa alongside Christine Bleakley and Holly Willoughby in December and A Night of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards alongside Amanda Holden in December. Schofield has been a well known and respected face on British television for over 30 years and is one of ITV's biggest presenters, hosting several daytime and primetime programmes on the channel. |
