BiographyPeter Doohan (born 2 May 1961 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is a former tennis player from Australia, who won one singles title (1984, Adelaide) and five doubles titles during his career. The right-hander reached his highest singles ATP-ranking on 3 August 1987, when he became the number 43 of the world. He currently resides in Nelson Bay, Australia.

He is best known for shockingly ousting two-time defending champion and top-seeded Boris Becker from the second round of Wimbledon in 1987, earning himself the nickname 'The Becker Wrecker' at home in Australia.
