BiographyPat Jacob, from Bristol, was National Treasurer during Sylvia Gray's chairmanship when she launched the appeal for £500,000 to set the NFWI’s finances on a firm footing. It was during her service that the decision to fix the subscription was passed to the NFWI executive committee.
During her term of office, the NFWI celebrated its Diamond Jubilee with the Tomorrow Heirlooms exhibition at the Commonwealth Institute.
Pat had a team of officers including Mrs Kate Foss as Treasurer, Patricia Batty Shaw and firstly Joan Lash and subsequently Olive Odell as vice chairmen.
