| Biography | Oliver began singing at the age of eight, under the tuition of Eleri Roberts and then with Jean Stanley-Jones until his voice broke in 1993 at the age of 14. During that time he achieved several successes in the Urdd Eisteddfod and in 1991 he won the coveted title of Choirboy of the Year, which led to numerous TV and concert appearances including soloist at the World Choir Concerts in Cardiff Arms Park.
He has been a member of the National Youth Choir of Wales. In 1997 Oliver went on to study music at the University of Edinburgh achieving a Bachelor of Music degree. He was Director of music at Ruthin School. |
