Biography | Former prize winner at the Royal Academy of Music, Samling Scholar and current Phoebe Benham Junior Fellow at the Royal College of Music, Jocelyn has toured around the UK, the Caribbean, France, Denmark and Cyprus. Recitals have taken her to the Wigmore Hall, St John's Smith Square, the Sage, Gateshead, and the Oxford Lieder Festival, and she has performed live on Sky, BBC and S4C television. As keen musical collaborator, Jocelyn has partnered outstanding singers including Bryn Terfel, Michael Chance, Alfie Boe, Anna Huntley, Stuart Jackson, Marcus Farnsworth, Jonathan McGovern and Ruth Jenkins. Duo performances include work with notable wind and string players including Anna Hashimoto, Sujin Park, Joe Zeiltin and Vashti Hunter. As a soloist she has performed concertos by Mozart, Liszt and Gershwin, and was awarded Gold at the Marlow International Concerto Competition 2008.
Jocelyn is passionate about performing concert programmes that excite and inform the listener. She is currently directing a song series entitled Dual Alliance, which unusually explores and exhibits French and Russian song. Other projects include a release tour for her debut CD currently encompassing the UK, Europe and the Far East. (September 2014) |
