BiographyAward-winning saxophonist Amy Green graduated with a Master of Performance (Distinction) and BMus Hons (First Class) from the RCM. She was awarded the prestigious Tagore Gold Medal and was the winner of the Edward and Helen Hague Senior Woodwind Prize. Amy also studied on an Erasmus exchange at the Paris Conservatoire. Enjoying a diverse range of musical activities, Amy has performed at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, the V&A museum, the National Gallery and The Forge, Camden. She performed in the 2012 BBC Proms with the London Sinfonietta, as well as in the 2011 and 2012 BBC Proms Plus series on BBC Radio 3. Earlier this year Amy performed at the ‘Sensing Spaces’ exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts and is a previous winner of the Melber Saxophone Competition. (October 2014)
