| Biography | In October 2014, Phoebe was commissioned to write the only piece of music in BAFTA and BIFA winning movie Kajaki. The True Story (Kilo Two Bravo US release). Her single All Of My Life is the theme to the modern British War Film and has reached over 150,000 plays on both Spotify and YouTube.
In September 2017 Phoebe made a piano-vocal album of her own music, showcasing her talent as a performer and diverse songwriter (physical sales only). She then re-invented her artist profile and dropped her first now, now performing and recording under her last name KATIS.
KATIS' first single Promises (prod. by Tim Bazell) was released April 12th 2018. The track reveals the shift in direction from her soulful singer-songwriter style ballads to funk-infused pop, combining a love of roots energy, gospel harmony, and funk grooves. The latter has been provided on Promises, in the most part, by Minneapolis based guitarist Cory Wong. The two met in September 2017 and have since been writing and recording together. |
