| Biography | Spiritualist who formed the Society of the Ankh to demonstrate that psychic power could be divorced from the trappings of pseudo-sanctity with success. In 1948 moved to South Africa to lecture. In 1949 travelled to Canada and New York to lecture. It was suspected that he suffered from depression and committed suicide at his home in New King's Road. In 1955 he wrote 'Clock Without Hands' detailing his life and separation from spiritualism. |
