BiographyArtistic Director & choreographer Gareth Walker has made his mark on the world of dance.In 2012, he was the Associate Director on the Closing Ceremony for the London Olympics and Paralympic, working closely with Jay Z, Rihanna, Coldplay, Annie Lennox, Fatboy Slim, Jessie J and many more.

He has directed and choreographed tours for Steps, Anastacia, Mika, Take That, Beverly Knight and Lulu. He directed the sell-out Gobsmacked! show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. He has created international shows for Celebrity Cruises (Miami), Davines Worldwide Hair with Angelo Seminara and City Of Dreams (Manilla), P&O Cruises, as well as numerous shows for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy.

Gareth loves creating and conceptualizing shows, His Seasons Of Love (2015) resulted in a sell-out dance show at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. He also directed and choreographed the sell-out “Here Come The Girls” tours starring: Lulu, Anastacia and Chaka Khan, and further runs with Lulu, Anastacia, Heather Small and Gloria Gaynor.

After graduating from The London Studio Centre, he enjoyed success performing in the West End, Commercial Dance and Presenting Ministry Of Sound Pump It Up Fitness Dvds. His show director path started when he was invited to assist on Take That’s “The Ultimate,” “Beautiful World” and “Circus” tours. From there he went on to choreograph for The Brit Awards, Toyota’s World Trade Shows, Trevor Sorbie, and L’Oreal’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations. He has also choreographed many music artist’s tours.

Gareth’s choreography has been seen on the majority of dance performances on major UK TV shows, including “So You Think You Can Dance” (BBC1), “Don’t Stop Believing” (Channel 5), “The Royal Variety Show” (BBC1), Take That’s Brit Award performance 2011, “Sing If You Can”(ITV) Strictly Come Dancing and many more. His passion for dance helps him inspire the next generation, whereby he is committed to improving teaching standards and training techniques. He is proud to be affiliated with Bodywork Company, Cambridge.

Gareth recently directed and choreographed “Remembering Fred”, (2017 & 2018) starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Aljaz & Janette, and the highly successful “Rip It Up” tours, the 50s starring Natalie Lowe, Jay McGuinness and Louis Smith, and the 60s starring Aston Merrygold, Jay McGuinness and Harry Judd.
