| Biography | The Piccadilly Hotel put on what the Theatre World described as "the most sparkling cabaret show in town." Its first show, staged in 1924 by Edward Dolly (brother of the famous Dolly Sisters), was called 'Dolly's Revels.' This show continued under the name of the 'Piccadilly Revels' for many years.
The Revels Band was intended to rival the bands at the Savoy Hotel and Kit-Cat club. |
