Biography | Mathilde began the violin at the age of 6, studying with Ilya Ushakov, and from the age of 8 years under the direction of Viktoria Grogoreva at the Royal College of Music Junior Department. She has studied with David Takeno and performe din Masterclasses with Itzhak Rashkovsky, Sergei Kravchenko, Michale Vaiman, Simon Fischer and Shmeul Ashkenasi. She has taken part in INternational Violin Competitions in London, Germany, Portugal and Poland, winning First Prize International Violin in Madeira in 2011. She has also won tthe Hugh Bean Memorial Violin Competition, the ian Stuotzker Violin Prize, the Marjorie Humby Memorial Competition and the May Edwards Memorial Prize at the Royal College of Music. In London she has performed at the Hall, St Mary's Perivale, Wigmore Hall, the State Rooms at Westminster, and St John's, Smith Square. |
