| Biography | Jonathan Stoughton was born in London. He read French at University College London and was a lay-clerk at both Magdalen College and New College, Oxford. He studied at the Benjamin Britten International Opera School at the Royal College of Music, supported by a Jennifer and Robert Diamond Award, before completing his studies at the National Opera Studio. |
