BiographyCerys Elizabeth Matthews (born 11 April 1969) is a Welsh singer, songwriter, she is best known for formerly being the lead singer of the Welsh rock band Catatonia. Later a broadcaster and author, a BBC 6 music DJ, a documentary maker for BBC Radio 2 and 4, being a judge for the Dylan Thomas Literary Prize, and for her 1998 Christmas duet with Tom Jones.
