| Biography | Joan Turner (24 November 1922 1 March 2009) was a British comedienne and singer born in Belfast and brought up in London.
Turner appeared in various shows, including with Frankie Howerd and Ted Ray and could be regularly seen on television from 1951 onwards. She later had her own radio and television shows. Turner was also performed impressions of famous singers like Gracie Fields and Vera Lynn and appeared in West End musicals and cabaret. |
