Biography | Rex Stephens (1913, Launceston, Cornwall, England - 6 March 2001, London, England) was a British pianist. Stephens was a student at the Royal Academy of Music and was a professor of piano accompaniment from 1951. Stephens was an accompanist to many distinguished soloists, and teacher of many more. His pupils included Timothy Barratt, Mark Wildman and Clara Taylor. |
