BiographyDescribed as masters of great atmosphere PAPRIKA BALKANICUS are becoming one of the hottest newcomers in World music. Their electrifying show of fantastic musicianship and witty stage presence has already won them a substantial following in the UK, Europe, Australia and Japan.

The guys play a fiery blend of traditional and Gypsy music from the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Their repertoire comprises of songs which mirror longing, passion and joy of these hidden places.

They have seduced masses at numerous British and International festivals including Glastonbury, string of WOMAD Festivals (Charlton Park, Adelaide, Las Palmas, Caceres & Abu Dhabi), Auckland Festival (NZ), Adelaide Cabaret Festival (AU), Spraoi, Northside & Dublin Dockland Festivals (Ireland), Balkan Fever London, Secret Garden Party, Exit (Serbia) and Edinburgh Fringe amongst others.

Beside highly successful tours and festival appearances in UK, Ireland, Norway, France, Spain, Serbia, Canary Islands, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Australia and New Zealand they have also performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls and clubs, such as Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, British Library, Tate Modern, Bruntwood Theatre (Manchester), Black Box Teater (Oslo), New Morning (Paris), as well as The Forum, Enmore Theatre, The Tivoli & Brisbane Powerhouse (AU) to name but a few.
