| Biography | The North East Folk Collective (NEFCo) was formed as a voluntary project in Summer 2010 to give advanced young people, with a passion for traditional music, the opportunity to work together to compose, arrange and perform their own music. The mentoring is done on an entirely voluntary basis and the emphasis is on having fun and sharing experiences, influences and tunes in a very informal setting. NEFCo)also try to promote the music and talent of Aberdeenshire and raise the profile of traditional music in their local area wherever they go. |
