| Biography | Alexander Robin Baker was trained at GSMD and the National Opera Studio. He was awarded Second Prize in the 2008 Kathleen Ferrier Awards and was also the recipient of the inaugural Nicholas John Fellowship from the National Opera Studio.
He has appeared at Glyndebourne, where he was a Jerwood Young Artist, and ENO. He has also appeared in concert with LPO, Philharmonia, City of London Sinfonia and Scottish Chamber Orchestra and has worked under many conductors including Vladimir Jurowski, Sir Andrew Davies and Sir Mark Elder. Future engagements include a return to ENO and Carmina Burana with CBSO. |
