Biography | Michael Clack first learned a brass instrument as a child at the local Salvation Army where his father was bandmaster. Piano tuition was followed by the organ before moving on to study at the London College of Music (GLCM, Hon FLCM) and London University where he gained a B. Mus. (Hons) degree.
Clack assumed the leadership of the Chalk Farm Salvation Army Band in 1963 and directed the band for most of the succeeding years until his retirement in 2001. |
