Performance NotesThe event celebrated 40 years if the Girl Guides and 30 years of the Ranger Branch.
The Groups representing the Women's Services were led by Guiders who served in them during the 1939-1945 war.
The Bearers of the International Flags in the finale where, wherever possible, Rangers and Guides from the countries represented. They were led by the World Flag, carried by Guides who at that time had no country of their own, while at the end came a Guide from Germany carrying the flag of the newly constituted German Federal State.
