| Performance Notes | "There was not an empty seat at the Albert Hall yesterday afternoon when the programme of the Sunday concert was so arranged as to form a tribute to the memory of King Edward VII. The vast building was, indeed, a veritable sea of black, in which the only splash of colour was afforded by the bright uniforms of a contingent of the band of the Grenadier Guards, by which the New Symphony Orchestra was reinforced."
