Performance Notes | Johnny Hill won against Nicolas Petit-Biquet, with Biquet disqualified for low blow: In round eleven, the fight came to an abrupt and rather unsatisfactory conclusion. A left to the stomach - low or otherwise, it was impossible to see from the angle at which the writer sat sent Hill down on to his knees in pain and distress. That, of course, did not mean that the blow necessarily was a foul one
Nor did the referees method of making up his mind add to the conviction that a foul blow really had been landed. Clearly, Hill and Biquet will have to meet again before either can claim any ascendancy over the other. The Times, Thursday, Mar 31, 1927, Teddy Baldock won against Felix Friedemann, Barthelemy Molina won against Harry Collin, Ted Sandwina drew with Young Con O'Kelly, Hermann Herse won against Frank Burns, Walter White won against Harry Fenn.
