Performance Notes"REQUIEM MASS IN ALBERT HALL.
OXFORD MOVEMENT HEROES.
The departed heroes of the Oxford Movement were solemnly commemorated yesterday morning at a High Mass of requiem in the Royal Albert Hall, for which the Bishop of London had given his express licence.
The large area had been cleared for the catafalque, upon which was draped a magnificent pall of black and gold. Round it burnst six immense candles of unbleached wax."
