The first of the two great gatherings in connection with the opening of the Masonic Peace Memorial takes place this afternoon, when there will be a special meeting of the United Grand Lodge of England at the Royal Albert Hall..."

"...The Albert Hall is a splendid setting for such a restful and picturesque scene. Many have been the occassions there when all the colours of the rainbow have mingled in a gay kaleidoscopic riot, with ceaseless activity. Yesterday the picture was without movement, and Blue was the outstanding colour.
The light blue collar and apron of the craft, adorned with silver, predominated. The dark blue of the hierarchy, embellished with gold, stood out by way of contrast. The Wedgewood scheme of decoration of the Albert Hall formed a fitting background..."
