Performance NotesFor three nights in November, 3,000 talented young musicians will perform for an audience of over 15,000 at the Hall. The concerts celebrate the breadth and quality of music being performed by many thousands of young people in this country today.

Audiences are treated to three joyous nights of high quality music-making embracing every kind of music from boy bands to near professional orchestras. Each concert is a showcase for the exuberance, skills and talent of gifted young performers from every corner of the UK and reach a triumphant climax each evening with a spine-tingling finale of fireworks, balloons and Elgar's stirring Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 - "Land of Hope and Glory".

The event saw the world premiere of 'Play' by Tim Steiner (Play), which was commissioned by Music For Youth and Rockschool.

The event was filmed by Black Swan Recordings.
