Performance Notes
The RPO's Journeys Through Music series was sponsored by British Rail and began in February 1972 and ended in May 1973. The series included musical teach-ins by Antony Hopkins. Combined travel and concert facilities were made available for the first two teach-ins.
The teach-ins were to supplement the children's concerts available by appealing to teenagers and older poeple wanting to learn more about music. They were designed to bring them within reach of people living within a hundred miles of London.
