Pianist Ilya Kondratiev is currently studying for a Master of Performance degree at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Professor Vanessa Latarche. He previously studied with the Peoples Artist of Russia Zinaida Ignatieva at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Victoria Soifer at Samara Musical College in Russia.
Since 2014 Ilya has been supported by the Henry Wood Trust and is a scholar of the Future of Russia Foundation. Ilya has been awarded prizes at competitions such as The International Chopin Piano Competition in Hannover, Germany, the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Budapest, Hungary and Weimar, Germany, and the 5th Tbilisi International Piano Competition in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he was the recipient of the Grand Prix and five special prizes. |
