Marimba virtuoso Aristel Skrbic is one of the few performing artists today who is as much at home in interpreting classical music as he is in the world of improvisation (the latter mastered through years of private consultations with world-famous percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie). Aristels quest is to revive the tradition of improvisation on this instrument, in a way thats contemporary and yet timeless.
