Grand Slam Champions, former World No.1s and national icons return to the Hall for a dazzling display of high quality tennis and entertainment during the festive season.
Joining former World No.1 and two-time US Open Champion Pat Rafter in 2016s starstudded field will be former World No.1 and seven-time Grand Slam Champion John McEnroe, former World No.1 Juan Carlos Ferrero, British fan favourite Tim Henman and the ever-popular Mansour Bahrami, at the Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall event.
Every year I look forward to coming back to London and playing in Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall event, which over the last two decades has become one of my favorite stops on the Champions Tour. I am grateful to be able to compete in front of amazing British fans that have such a great appreciation for our sport. I cant wait to return in December

This year Champions Tennis is partnering with SportsAid as the official charity of the event. 2016 marked SportsAids 40th anniversary and, to celebrate this milestone, they hosted a charity session on the afternoon of Friday 2 December.
The SportsAid session featured the Fast4 format. Two teams, lead by former Olympians Mark Foster and Denise Lewis will play on a first-to-four-games basis. There are no advantage points and if the ball strikes the net cord and lands within the service lines, play continues. This format encourages players to add variety to their game and keeps opponents on their toes for the whole match, ensuring exciting viewing!
The charity session also consisted of a spectacular performance from SportsAid ambassador and English soprano Laura Wright, and to conclude the afternoon, a parade of British Olympians and Paralympians of past, present and future, including some who participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
Family entertainment packages were available for this event. The Family Advantage Package included a range of activities with views of the court, mini tennis courts, coaching tips from tennis stars, 'George and the Ice Cream Castle' entertainment pack, and a snack box. This cost £29.50 per person.
An Olympian Advantage Package was available for this event, priced at £29.50 per person. This included early access to a Royal Albert Hall bar, a glass of champagne, Q&A with an Olympian and Champins Tennis player and a SportsAid goodie bag.

The Volley Package, priced at £199 per person, included private hire of a 4-person Second Tier box, box food, half a bottle of wine and water per person, tea and coffee and a programme.
The Courtside Package, priced at £199 per person, included a two-course a la carte meal in Coda Restaurant, glass of champagne on arrival, half a bottle of wine and water per person, tea or coffee, Stall seating and a programme.
The Champions Club package inlcuded early VIP access, premium box seats on the Grand Tier, a fine dining experience in the Champions Club, dessert, cheese, coffee, alcoholic and soft drinks served in one's box, and a programme.
The Racquet Club package included early VIP access, premium box seats on the Grand Tier, a Q&A with a Champions Tennis player, a glass of champagne on arrival plus drinks reception, food served at the pre-match reception, canapes, coffee and wine served in one's box, use of the VIP cloakroom and a programme. |
