| Performance Notes | The Quartet have been together since September 2015 and are between 17-18 yrs old. They are all grade 8/diploma level pupils and are members of the Chiltern Music Academy of which they hold principal positions in all the groups they play in. The Quartet rehearsal for an hour every Saturday morning one week working with the teacher, Alison Downie, and the following week on their own. They have performed around the High Wycombe area in concerts and at weddings/ anniversaries and have studied and played a wide selection of styles. In previous years this Quartet with different players ( under the old name of The Adophe sax Quartet ) have performed at the RAH schools prom twice. Once having had a piece written for them to perform. |
