Speech and Resolution - 'That this meeting of the Primrose League, in grand habitation assembled, places upon record its confidence in Lord Saisbury and her Majesty's Government, and declare its gratitude to them for upholding the honour of Great Britain abroad, not only in the face of unexemplified difficulties, but also at a time of a great Imperial crisis; and it further desires to record its thanks to the Government for their efforts to promote the social reform of our people at home.'
