Broadcaster and Jazz Vocalist, Jumoké Fashola returns to the Elgar Room to perform revolutionary music and poetry that has been a catalyst for social change around the world.Protest! Celebrates the power of music and words to inspire, from early African- American spirituals, Jazz, Reggae to 21c revolutionary folk songs, performed by the likes of Nina Simone, Pete Seeger, Miriam Makeba and Bob Dylan and words from the likes of Langston Hughes. 'The revolution will not be televised', come and hear some of the greatest songs and poems written about the human struggle. |
