| Performance Notes | Pianist Will Barry and saxophonist Alex Hitchcock share a musical history that goes back over ten years, including as contemporaries at the Royal Academy of Music. Between them, they have played as sidemen with many legendary figures in Jazz including Jasper Hoiby, Laurence Cottle, Soweto Kinch, Perico Sambeat, and Clark Tracey. In their duo, they play original compositions as well as other repertoire ranging from Hermeto Pascoal to Lennie Tristano. 2017 performances include The Vortex, Ronnie Scott's, and Cambridge Jazz Festival. |
