Performance NotesForty three years on from its first appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in 1974, the world’s most celebrated choral participation event – Messiah from Scratch® – returns on Sunday 12 November when 3,500 voices will raise the roof in a spine-tingling performance of Handel’s masterpiece.

The sense of excitement at these concerts is palpable. Don’t miss this unique experience where performers outnumber the audience by two to one and singers and audience alike leave the concert buzzing with excitement. Audience tickets are limited, so book now (and do keep trying if at first there are none available). Brian Kay conducts, with young prize-winning soloists and accompaniment from the English Festival Orchestra.

All money from programmes, advertising and sponsorship at Messiah from Scratch® goes directly to the British Heart Foundation. Tickets would make a wonderful Christmas present and enable you and your guests to support a fantastically worthwhile charity at the same time.
