Performance NotesWhere Pathways Meet is the sound of outer-space colliding with the London jazz scene.

Part of the continuing tradition of artists bringing energy and movement to jazz music, the ensemble play their own re-workings of Sun Ra’s music alongside original compositions.

The subsequent sonic explosion of otherworldly horn melodies, possessed by spacey effects, backed by dark rolling bass lines, and locked in with the combination of two drum kits is powerful.

This Late Night Jazz concert in Hall’s the Elgar Room will form part of the Hall’s inaugural Festival of Science: Space.
