Performance NotesBBC Proms Sessions, run in partnership with the Hall’s Education and Outreach team, are a series of free workshops and masterclasses which offer young people the opportunity to work with some of the fantastic artists appearing at the BBC Proms. The Sessions aim to develop the skills and confidence of aspiring young musicians while giving them a unique opportunity to work closely with these artists in the intimacy of the Elgar Room.

This session will offer young musicians a folk music experience with The Unthanks, including a chance to join them in performance, learn about life in the music industry and discover the best performance and writing techniques.

The session will run from 10am – 12pm. Please note this workshop is open to 14-21 year olds interested in life in the music industry and the music the band write and perform.. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
