Performance Notes | The worlds most celebrated choral participation event Messiah from Scratch® returns to the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 7 December for its 46th year, to fill the Hall with the sound of 3,500 voices in this pre-Christmas Messiah.
This is the most adrenaline-filled performance of Handels masterpiece you are ever likely to hear, and one not to be missed, with singers and audience alike leaving the concert buzzing with excitement. Singers in The Really Big Chorus outnumber the audience by three to one; audience tickets are therefore limited, so book now for this utterly unique experience.
All money from programmes, advertising and sponsorship at this concert will be exclusively channelled to the British Heart Foundation. This is the ideal event to kick-start your Christmas celebrations: tickets would make a wonderful Christmas present and enable you and your guests to support a fantastically worthwhile charity at the same time.
Soloists are auditioned from among todays best young talent, and will be announced in the autumn. Brian Kay conducts, with accompaniment from the English Festival Orchestra. |
