Performance Notes | American singer-songwriter Natalie Prass will deliver an exclusive set from her home as part of the Royal Albert Home sessions. In these strange times, closing the Hall's doors is the best way to look after the world, but we are now opening a (virtual) window for you to experience some of the most talented artists around. Natalie Prass's 2015 self-titled debut album was hailed as "a majestic debut" (NPR) and saw her become one of the year's most talked-about artists, sharing bills around the world with the likes of Fleet Foxes and The War on Drugs.
Her follow-up, The Future and the Past, was due for release but promptly re-written in the wake of the US Presidential election. What was released is a stunning work of art and a powerful feminist statement from an artist who's only just begun to tap into the full range of her considerable powers. |
