Performance Notes | One of very few disabled classical artists, Nicholas was born without his right hand and is currently the world's only one-handed concert pianist, focusing on the dynamic world of left-hand alone repertoire. Following his historic graduation from the Royal College of Music in 2012, Nicholas was awarded an Honorary membership to the world-leading music conservatoire presented by HRH The Prince of Wales.
Nicholas has released two chart-topping classical albums and toured the world in recital and concerto performances, including a memorable one at the 2012 Paralympic closing ceremony alongside Coldplay.
His international performances, speeches and commitment to music education continue to inspire millions around the world, as did his first Hall appearance, where he delivered a keynote talk and performance for TEDxAlbertopolis, the largest TEDx event in the UK.
His Royal Albert Home session features left-hand alone piano works by Bach, Scriabin, Gershwin and more. |
