Performance Notes | The celebrated blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter first played the Hall on a special night in 2009 - a night which saw him play with his idol Eric Clapton and was subsequently released on his platinum-selling Live from the Royal Albert Hall DVD. He has since headlined the Hall six times.
Regarded as one of the greatest guitarists of his generation, Joe has released more than 40 albums on his own label, J&R Adventures. He founded and oversees the non-profit Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, which is currently raising funds to help musicians in need through its Fueling Musicians programme. Bonamassa has received two GRAMMYnominations, and recently achieved his 22nd #1 Billboard Blues Albums - more than any other artist. His next album, Royal Tea, is released on 23 October.
We're delighted to welcome Joe back at this troubling time for the venue and to present this exclusive lockdown session for his fans. |
