Performance NotesBehind closed doors short performances by various artists to be presented as part of the Women of the World streamed online festival 2021.
Soul singer and all-round force of nature performs She Cries and her upcoming single Everyday in the Royal Albert Hall auditorium as part of the WOW UK 2021 festival launch on 1 March.

The multi-award-winning saxophonist and composer recorded this exclusive medley of music from her album SOURCE in our empty auditorium. It featured in WOW’s British Vogue Forces For Change event on 9 March.

Genre-defying French-Senegalese artist anaiis performs Window and Woman accompanied by the kora in our Door 6 staircase. Not one to be pigeon-holed, anaiis occupies the space between different styles, influenced by the places she has lived and the series of displacements her life has been punctuated by. You can catch this performance above and during the following WOW events: 5 March as part of Good Grief: Catherine Mayer and Anne Mayer Bird in conversation and 10 March as part of Women in Greek myths: Natalie Haynes and Bettany Hughes.
