Performance Notes"Grand exhibition of Rose and other flowers and plants in the Western Quadrant Arcade, illuminated with electric light. Messrs Ihlee and Home's Exhibition of Balmain's Luminous Paint in the East Crush Room, Royal Albert Hall. Quekett Microscopical Club Exhibition in the Eastern Quadrant Arcade. Gardens and Fountains illuminated with coloured [fires].
Royal Horse Guards, full Band conducted by Mr Charles Godfrey. Vocal and instrumental music in the conservatory:- Miss Beata Francis, Mr. Vitton, Mr Haigh, Signor Carlo Giorgi (flute), Mr King Hall (organ), Mr Edwin Bending, conductor.
All four entrances to the Gardens will be open: also by permission of the Council of the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal entrance of that building and the corridors leading therefrom to the conservatory." (The Times 26 May 1880)
