Resolution - 'That this meeting of the Primrose League, in Grand Habitation assembled, records its emphatic condemnation of the course pursued by the present Government in its attack upon the Constitution of the country and its avowed intention to create a Single-Chamber Government in order to force into law revolutionary measures which the people have never approved.' Performance Notes'The building was entirely filled, and round its crowded tiers were hung many banners of the League. The proceedings proper began with the usual procession, including M Balfour, the Grand Master who, along with the members of the Grand Council, walked through the hall amid the cheers of the audience.'
