"...One incident marred the harmony of the gathering. Early in the chairman's remarks interruption came from the gallery, where a woman, whose words were unintelligible from the floor of the hall, shouted at Mr illingworth, but within a few moments she had been removed, her disappearance being marked by hearty cheering."
