Performing at this Classical Coffee Morning are violist Elsa Rapisarda, violinist Imaan Kashim and violist Rocio Ortega Lopez.
Born in Milan but London-based since she was 3 years old, Elsa Rapisarda has studied at the Purcell School and at the Royal College of Music Junior Department. In recent years, she has performed with chamber groups in venues across London such as the Southbank Center, St Martin in the Fields and St Jamess Piccadilly.
Committed to making classical music more accessible, Imaan Kashim directs a chamber orchestra as part of her organisation, Tutti, comprising members from junior conservatoires. She has shared her musical ideas on BBC Radio 3, hosted an evening show on Scala Radio, and was featured busking on social media by Classic FM.
Spanish-born Rocio Ortega Lopez has already performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, St. Johns Smith Square, St. Stephens Church and St. Marys Church, despite being only 17 years old. Her talent and musicality has earned her multiple awards and trophies, including the best Musician of the Year in Richmond and Sevenoaks Festivals in 2019. |
