Performance NotesIgnite was launched in September 2005 as a brand new lunchtime music series showcasing exciting and talented musicians in the Cafe Consort. The concerts were free and took place most Friday lunchtimes from 12:00-13:30. The objectives of the music series were to encourage local residents, the staff of local businesses and cultural attractions, students and staff of educational institutions and domestic and foreign tourists in the area to attend the Hall at lunchtime and increase daytime access to the Hall.

Originally inspired by circus performances in Europe, Clown Revisited plays uplifting music with jazz overtones, taking its inspiration from all over the world. Large sections of the perfomance were improvised with some audience particpation.
