Performance NotesIgnite was launched in September 2005 as a brand new lunchtime music series showcasing exciting and talented musicians in the Cafe Consort. The concerts were free and took place most Friday lunchtimes from 12:00-13:30. The objectives of the music series were to encourage local residents, the staff of local businesses and cultural attractions, students and staff of educational institutions and domestic and foreign tourists in the area to attend the Hall at lunchtime and increase daytime access to the Hall.

A Celtic celebration - an exciting programme of Irish and Scottish Barqoue works and traditional music. Lyrical celtic melodies are heard alongside rousing traditional music, suitable at a Ceilidh.

Da Camera crosses the line between Early, Folk and Contemporary music, from 15th century passamezzi, via traditional music and the Baroque to newly-commissioned works. Da Camera has performed at Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, Chester, Dartington, Totnes and Finchcocks Festivals and they have broadcast on BBS Radio 3. All members of the recorder and viol families are used with hapsichord or organ. Da Camera recently released their first CD f Irish and Scottish Baroque music, 'A Celtic Celebration', released on their own Da Camera label.
