Performance NotesIgnite was launched in September 2005 as a brand new lunchtime music series showcasing exciting and talented musicians in the Cafe Consort. The concerts were free and took place most Friday lunchtimes from 12:00-13:30. The objectives of the music series were to encourage local residents, the staff of local businesses and cultural attractions, students and staff of educational institutions and domestic and foreign tourists in the area to attend the Hall at lunchtime and increase daytime access to the Hall.

SonVer started life in 2003 when they recorded 'Until the Stones Melt'. The ambient soundtrack feel to SonVer's music has led to collaborations with UK film production companies and SonVer's live show incorporates both stilland abstract movie projection.
